I didn't rate Spark at first but after seeing the video it looks very cool. I love the FX ribbon and sequencer.

Inside review of M-Audio Venom:

"M audio was here to give us a sneak preview on Tuesday. And we actually have them in stock today, we'll be able to start selling them later today or tomorrow.

It's definitely on the raw, gritty, screaming, aggressive side ... a nice VA synth with a good sound engine and some more modern DSP effects tossed in (granulizers, etc). The CPU editor looked well written. I think I'll be positioning it as a poor man's Virus (or Nord)
"

Like I said, it sounds interesting to me.

YEP, Tempest is the BALLZ. I have really been wanting to see a modern pure analog path Drum Machine, with USB.

I am definitely getting one.

That's a huge surprise. They chose to go down the path that TC has been struggling with a loooong time. And another thing was this

"UA’s First-Ever Firewire 800/400 DSP Accelerators Provide Plug-and-Play Access to Award-Winning UAD Powered Plug-Ins on Wide Range of Mac Computers"

So far it seems like these two things will get press at NAMM.

For owners of Omnisphere and ipad, this is nice news. The first I've really cared about from NAMM.

Ill wait a while for the UAD satellite to pan out before buying. From what you guys say and other knowledgeable people say, firewire has given manufacturers problems.
