problem with tracks muting

Post by duxlux » Tue Jan 18, 2011 7:30 am

So I assume there is a simple and logical explanation for this problem, but I can't seem to find it. When I record songs by launching clips, after I stop the tracks, the clips no longer play. When I look at it in arrangement view, the tracks are lightened in color. I currently have figured out that when I duplicate the tracks, they will play in the arrangement views without the clips needing to be launched. Any advice??

any help is appreciated.

Thanks o.O

Click the 'back to arrangement' button in the top toolbar.

You can't run an arrangement and then fiddle with session view without it changing the arrangement, if you didnt have global record on. hence Live assumes you don't want to play the arrangement yas it is anymore, greys out the arrangement tracks and leaves you to get on with your session view fiddlings.

if you want to record into ther arrangement view at the same timer as fiddling in session, make sure the track you are recording in session is armed AND global record is on.
