'Real' drum software - Addictive Drums vs. others?

I've played a bit with AD's demo. How does it stack up against the competition? I'm working on a metal project mixed entirely in Live - need just one punchy kit but preferably a ton of midi files.

I really like the sound of Native Instruments Abbey Road Modern Drums, but I don't think it comes with MIDI files (?)

if you're after MIDI files played by a real drummer, for metal as well as other styles, you want Groovemonkee http://www.groovemonkee.com/en/
