Arturia 3 for 1. Which instruments to pick?

I just bought the 3 for 1 deal from Arturia which I think is a pretty smokin deal.

I am having trouble picking my 3rd instrument though. So far, I have chosen the Minimoog V and Jupiter-8V. Any suggestions for the 3rd instrument?

I have the V-Collection, and my favorite is the Prophet V so I second razorblade's opinion.

Yeah I'd say add the Prophet. It's a cool synth and you get both the Prophet-5 and the VS which are very different synths, so 2 in one.

I've currently got the Jupiter and Prophet and I miss the minimoog so I might sell these two to go for the three in 1 and buy back Minimoog/Prophet/Jupiter.

Prophet V. It sounds great, you get 2 synths, and it's my favorite retro analog synth ;)

2nd choice - ARP 2600 V, clunky interface but fun as it's true to the original (interface wise) and I also think it sounds quite good.

Thanks for the replies guys, looks like it’s pretty unanimous that I should go with the Prophet V.

Analog Factory.. there it's not unanimous anymore.

it's seems like a better choice to get the one instrument that has sounds from all of the instruments you are not getting otherwise.

and if you find that you like the sounds coming from some of the others, then just do another 3 for 1.

LOL.

I know I want the Minimoog for sure (its the reason I went for the deal), and looks like Prophet V.

Jupipiter, however, I just picked cuz I know a lot of people like it. Perhaps Analog Factory may be a better replacement for it. Anyone want to comment on that idea?

analog factory looses the ability to edit the sounds to the same degree

I also got in on this deal and got the Jupiter, Mini Moog, and Prophet. One of my best purchases of 2010, definitely the best deal! These things sound awesome!

Yeah the Prophet is really good... I recently bought the whole analog collection, and the Prophet I reach for more than anything. They are all worthwhile instruments though. Now, if I could only get these Arturia plugs to stop crashing Live.

Maybe it's me being really dense but is that site offering that you pay $199.00 and get to try the 8 instruments for 15 days and then pick three of them to keep?

Because if so that's a ridiculously good deal.

it's true, Arturia plugs crash Live like crazy....especially the ARP 2600, can't count the number of times it shut down Live, uggghhh. The prophet crashes live unless you close the session it's in before loading a new session (otherwise, CRASH) -- and yes, I've sent the appropriate crash logs. this problem persists.....worth knowing for potential buyers.

Is this on windows or mac? And is the ARP2600 the V2?
