Post by Sarrova-Q » Sun Jan 30, 2011 2:17 pm

Hi

I'm very happy to announce my new Ableton apps for Livid Instruments.
JigSaw and C16 are here!

More info in this video:

Turnlab.be (importer & distributor for Livid Instruments) visited Aurex (famous for his music and apps for Ableton Live & Novation's Launchpad) to see what he thinks of the Livid MIDI-controllers and to check out his brand new creations for Livid's OHM64 and Code.

I will upload more detailed information about these apps very soon!

Cheers

Awesome stuff, keep up the great work!
Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

hi aurex, i downloaded jigsaw and was wondering if i could map it to my midifighter? of course the midifighter doesn't have 64 buttons like the livid block. but in four banks mode i get 48 buttons which might be enough for a 'baby' jigsaw.
is there a list or mapping sheet somewhere that i could use?
best,

Hi

In theory that should be possible but I can't give you a mapping sheet simply because I don't have one myself.
What you could do is check the midi mapping list inside Live. I'm warning you though as JigSaw uses A LOT of midi mappings and is rather complicated. If I had a midi fighter, I would try to remap everything myself but I don't have access to one.

If you do want to remap everything by checking the midi mapping list, go ahead and if you have some specific questions just drop me a mail so I can try to help you out with certain mappings.

I must admit that a mini-jigsaw would be awesome as the Midi Fighter is perfect as a small FX controller device.

Good Luck :)

just to let you know i gave up on remapping jigsaw to midifighter.
i had a closer look on the jigsaw4block and got some functions working on the midifighter but i did not understand how you put the thing together and what does what. if i had a block or ohm i'd definitely use it a lot..
great fx chain though!
best,
