Newbie to Intro

First an intro for me, LOL.

I have spun vinyl all over the World, began in 1971. I was resident DJ in "Legend" Manchester, UK from 1980-83, where I started the famous "Danceamatic" nights on Thursdays with DJ Ralph Randell. I used to do pure mix sets up to 8hrs at a time from 1979. I also played "Space" in Ibiza back in 2001. So, I guess I have the basics. But, most of you guyz leave me dead when it comes to modern technology!

OK then! I bought Intro Live! to use primarily as a DJ mixing program. Is there anywhere I can find out how to this? Can't find anything in the manual. As I used to use vinyl all the time it'll be a big transition.

I have a laptop and usiing another program (Sam DJ) I had to buy an extra sound card, so I have a Creative Blaster X-Fi Surrond 5,1 box connected via USB. This worked well with Sam DJ (which is basically a radio style program).

I intend to start re-editing old tracks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
