On the RME you can add 2 breakout boxes, adding up to 26 analog i/os.

Native Instruments just anounced new soundcards. Im on iPhone here, so no flash for me, but check their flashy web site!

On the RME UFX output 9/10 and 11/12 (Phones) are located in the front. "TRS - Stereo" format.
The Traktor Audio 10 look lime more of a dj oriented card.

Echo AudioFire 12 sounds like it would be perfect if you really just need i/o.

I use three of them at school in a 36 channel ambisonics system and they work great.

No, I actually meant that the 828 mkIII offers a lot of features at good quality for a reasonable price.

^^ looks also good.

You said something about instrument inputs, though...

i know about the echo audiofire.
But correct me if i am wrong but the inputs are only line inputs. I need two instruments inputs, and as its for live use i don't want to carry preamps.
