Post by störgeräusche » Thu Feb 24, 2011 10:23 pm

after having sucesfully installed live 7 on a new machine i recently bought i can't have live 8 working.
installation process is OK but when i try to open live 8.1.5 i got strange messages and live wonßt start.
installation path is the same as live 7. strange uh?

computer is a i7 2.93 GHz, 16 Gig RAM, with win7 Pro 64 bit installed.

try the latest 8.2.1 version. It works (only) OK for me. While Win 7 64 b should ideally provide stability to programs it does not for Live and this is a Live coding issue- hopefully once 64b is ready it should resolve.

some plugs do crash with 8.2.1 and Win 7 64., but one change i see on 64 b is less CPU usage. not sure if it has something to do with the programs or just my PC is fast.
