Pedals and setup

Post by chegg » Tue Mar 22, 2011 8:25 pm

Hello, I am about to buy ableton, but I am horrible with technology. I have seen people use foot pedals to navigate through ableton when playing live. I have looked for videos or even written instructions on how to do this, but have not found any. I have also looked at what the best pedals to use would be. I play the electric cello, and would like to be able to play live, but setting these kind of things up looks impossible to me since I am so bad with tech stuff. Also since I have just started playing electric, I am unfamiliar with brands and pedals that would work well for these kind of things. Any suggestions?

If anyone can direct me to written instructions or a video that would also be great.

What exactly do you want to achieve with you pedals??
Looping? Sound tweaking? Effects? Beats? Volum?? Pan???

Search this forum and the web for "FCB1010" and "Soft Step".
