I was trying to record a song from various scenes in a session view and thought it would be awesome if in play I could for example hold down C0 so that the next scene select/launch launches half way through the scene length (assuming all the clips on the scene are set to run for the same number of bars before playing the next scene).
Even better if all the clips on a particular scene were set to run for 8 bars, I could assign 8 keyboard keys so that whichever key I held down when the next scene was launched, would be the bar the clips on that scene would start from. Is that in any way possible with live or max? I've searched and not been able to find anything like that.
Obviously you could split an 8 bar scene into eight 1 bar length scenes to achieve this, but a function like this could help you get a lot more out of clip launch into session view without swamping the screen with scenes.
