how to create a complex midi layer with different keyranges?

Post by mrdunkelbunt » Wed Apr 13, 2011 9:47 am

hola,
I wonder how I can create a complex layer trigger by a masterkeyboard that contains keyranges triggering different instruments (internal & external) using even using different midi channels. for example one octave triggers the masterkeyboards sounds (midi ch 1), another octave triggers a software sampler (midi channel 2), another a rack sound module (midi channel 3) and so on.

cheers

Instrument racks utilizing the key ranges, on different tracks set to receive midi from different channels.
