WHat new gear would you buy if you had an extra $1000

I just happen to have an extra $1000 laying around and it's burning holes in my undies.(I keep my money in my underwear.)
Anyway, I want some new gear. What I REALLY want is a new MAcbook Pro 15" Quad-Core i7 but I'm a little short, so I'm pondering what else to buy.
Some thoughts so far: Apogee Duet 2
Ipad 2
Hard-Ware Synth- Maybe Novation Ultranova or Roland GAIA

I realize this thread is a bit pointless but I'm just wondering what YOU would get, right now, if you had a G laying around.

a shitload of acoustical treatment/bass traps. but my new room sucks, so that's just me.

if i were you and your room is already treated or just sounds awesome, i would save for a new mac. mines five years old at this point, so i'm feeling that option in my own world as well...

Ya. I was thinking about Maschine too. Thing looks F'n awesome. I played one at Guitar Center and the Pads feel amazing for Drum Programming. Plus VST to Live! Hellz Yeah!

I have a late 2008 white Macbook. 2.4 GHz. 4 gb RAM and running perfectly but I feel like its time to upgrade.

My room is not Acoustically treated whatsoever. I live in a shitty apt. so thats basically out of the ? ATM.

I would love a new guitar also. I own a SChecter C1+ and I love it but of course would love to have a Jaguar or a Les Paul.

Hmmmmmm, good suggestions but still debating :/

How are the Ipad apps coming along?
Anyone know of any super awesome and/or useful developments in the Ipad Music/DJ dept.?

Maybe some customizable MIDI or OSC controllers. Or ANYTHING that works w/ LIVE?
