Why don't Behringer make a super charged BCF2000?
Why don't Behringer make a super charged BCF2000?
Given how popular the BCF2000 has been, I wish Behringer would launch a bigger midi mixer controller. 16 (or better 24) faders, mute/solo buttons, at least 5 rotaries per channel, plus transport controls.

why doesn't Neve make a cheap ass motorized fader box?
it's not in their business model. look at other mfgs for those kinds of boxes.
the BCx series are made to be replaceable, chainable and damn handy.

I started a thread in here and gearslutz a few years ago with an idea for a case full of BCF/BCR 2000. Just stumbled across the gearslutz one a few years later and realized a few people actually went ahead and built them

nooooooice...
Re: Why don't Behringer make a super charged BCF2000?
yeah that was my favorite one two! 6 of em all bundled up is a bit OTT, but the two of them like that looks so usable
Re: Why don't Behringer make a super charged BCF2000?
I dunno, the whole appeal of the BCR/BCF is that they are cheap, functional, and of relatively decent quality. Nobody wants to pay too much for a Behringer product. Their products just aren't that great, but a BCF/BCR works well and is cheap to replace when you break it!
If anything Behringer should work on making smaller slimmer versions, a little more portability couldn't hurt

Re: Why don't Behringer make a super charged BCF2000?
6 years now I've got a BCR.. seems it's the sm-57 of controllers...
it'll never die no matter how much punishment I put it through very reliable (the buttons are a bit flimsy though)
..and it's pretty flexible as well..
(especially with 'BC Manager')
and if you do manage to break it..
there's always a replacement on the cheap ..relatively speaking
it's just a great product..
if I'd have to change anything about it ..
I would make it smaller/sexier..
and add some resistance to the knobs..
and put better quality buttons and caps...
otherwise I love my BCR2K!
