Final output mono or stereo on stage with stereo system?

I have always been tossing this in the back of my mind but I would like to see what everyone else is doing. Output mono or stereo on stage? From out in the crowd it would not truly sound right unless you were in-between the two speakers. I still use stereo mixes for the final output but I try not to pan too much stuff hard left or right. But I am debating on switching solely to mono. Just for the record I use Live just for backing tracks & click.

Stereo swirly delay and panning effects are great out of a massive system. just don't pan anything important left or right. Have most stuff in the middle, but use stereo for width of sound and effects, not to put different instruments in different places like you would on a record.
