ReWire MIDI OUT ?!?
had a problem with this recently, I've got a friend who is a cubase guy. We were having a jam session where I had brought over hardware and we were trying to synch my hardware and his computer. we couldn't get cubase to send sync info. I knew how to do this in live but he didn't want to use live (he only had 3 and wanted to play VSTs) we tried to rewire live to cubase to send out sync info. but that didn't work (see post above) He didn't want to have live as the rewier master and cubase as the slave (I don't know if this is possible but why not. he probablly didn't want to find out that live could do something really easy that he couldn't figure out how to do in cubase) eventually I convinced him to just have cubase (with live rewired to it) synced to my hardware. but if live could send midi out while a rewire slave we woiuld have saved 2 hours.
