Question.... What is ABLETON ANSWERS?

We've been working on Answers, a new feature for our website, and we're ready to start letting the first users in.

We built Answers to make it easier for Live users to answer each other's questions about making music.

Because Answers is quite new, we're letting people in in batches. To participate, you need to have a valid Live license (Suite, Live, Intro or Lite).

At a guess, somewhere where things like Is Live good for X can be given marketting approved politically correct family viewing friendly in america answers only rather than the usual 'no this feature is totally broke and will result is a horrible messy death for the user's ears'

Yes, the Yahoo Answers analogy isn't so far off.

Basically the idea is that users can help each other, and that they can vote for (or against) replies based on how much they really help to answer the original question.

There's certainly some conceptual overlap with the forum, true. But the voting will, ideally, allow the helpful stuff to rise above the less helpful stuff.
