When I collect and save, where does all the copied info go?

When I collect and save, where does all the copied info go?

I am trying to save sets onto another drive. I collected and saved, but how do I guide it to the other external hard drive I want to back up on?
I have my apc 40 in the control surface under the miki sync in preferences, but its not showing op in the input and output tabs. How do i get it to show up there. I have all the drivers for the apc 40 and its all connected. Any ideas?

In my experience, if you create the project on an external drive, then collect all and save, all samples go directly into the project folder.
