Still checking it out...
How good of a job does Live do of creating Loops out of say an audio guitar riff I may play? And does it go kaputz if you slow or + the tempo?
thanks

try the demo and pray to god that the next pope says some intelligent stuff, about condoms and such ...
Do a search for 'audio quality' on the forum, you'll find lots of threads concerning this.
but seriously, if there's a demo, why not try it? see if you like what you can do ...

I use it the way you're wanting all the time, it works fine, but just like any other beatslicing app, it will sound better sped up than slowed down. You can use an external editor (Adobe Audition for example) if you want to make drastic tempo changes. The nice thing about Live4 is the whole process is *easy*.

I think that Live4 is the best quality AND easiest loop slicing program.
I have all the others that you have and prefer Live.
