Indiana Artists
Indiana Artists
Continuing the tradition started by the BEMC Volume 1 and 2 releases (www.nefariousrecords.net), I am forming the Bloomington Electronic Music Coalition artists' collective.
If you are in or near Bloomington, Indiana, and are interested in getting involved, please mail or post. We are planning monthly meetings dedicated to production techniques, gig leads, and coffee drinking. We will also be hosting monthly electronic music performances.
If you have similar experiences with a collective in another city, please share them here. I would love to hear your story!
Thank you,
Scott Kellogg

That's close enough for me! I've got a quickie site up at http://www.bemc.net detailing the project. If you'd like to get involved, drop me a line.

But of course! I'm going to set a forum up at www.bemc.net soon, so maybe we can conduct the bizness there ...

Right now I'm getting the organization set up. I have a good space to host the performances, a decent PA (which could use a sub), and a talented lighting tech.
If you would like to perform in the concert series, that's great. I would, however, like to hear your music. Do you have something online I can check out? I would like to have the first concert in the Spring, maybe March.
I'll be setting up a forum soon at www.bemc.net, so we'll be able to take the discussion there.
