Just thinking: If you just need audio files to load faster, I think you could "save and collect" all your audio files on a USB stick and afterwards set all your clips to RAM.

Rebooting and opening plugins would stay the same of course.

Hmm yeah but I thought the fastest USB flash drives would definitely be an improvement to a normal hard drive because the drive doesn't have to search for locations. The access speed is much faster.

I could be wrong tho, just picked this advice up along the way ...
