Your favorite Suite8 Instrument?
I get the most miles out of Drum Rack - I love it to death, but it has obvious unfair advantages over the other instruments.
Discounting that, I have to go with Collision, I especially love the Membrane resonator, produces some wild low resonances. My least favorite has to be Impulse - is it still relevant? (if so, i'd like to know what you get out of it).
Thanks!

For me it's a toss up between Operator and Sampler, but I think sampler wins for me. I use it for everything. In drum racks I use it to load multiple samples of the same or similar sound (say, a kick sample) into a single pad and then I can easily switch between which sample I want to use at any time. It really allows for some very simple tweaks if one of the sounds doesn't fit.
I also use it to sample some of my more CPU hogging VST's. Again, I can load a lot of samples into a single instance and easily tweak to taste (like above), or make the sound based on velocity and throw a velocity plug in front of it set to completely random for 100% random sounds. Can really make some interesting things w/ this method.
I also love sampling something, putting TONS of effects all over it, resample, and then do it again. Talk about some flexibility and sounds that are FAR out there w/out the fancy (and expensive) VSTs that are out there. It's one of the reasons I suggest the suite over something like Komplete. Suite is very powerful if you think outside the instrument itself.

I love Operator and Drum Racks equally. Great instruments, both.
On the subject of Impulse, Drum Racks made it totally redundant for me.

Tension is amazing
Collision + corpus make an awesome combo

Re: Your favorite Suite8 Instrument?
for me it is operator for it wide range of sounds, analog for its simplicity
and tension / corpus for the oranic alien sound construction
drum racks are used in every song, but could be replaced with other
combinations quite easily, while it is not so easy to replace operator
in a track IMO

Operator and Sampler.
BTW, Drum Racks are not a Suite Instrument, just some of the samples and presets : )

Collision, probably be using this one 10x more than the others.
Though I have Komplete, Zebra 2, AAS: Analog, String Studio, and Tassman, so the rest of the line up is cool but nothing new to me.

Re: Your favorite Suite8 Instrument?
drum rack
simpler
sampler
operator
not at all into any of the others
Electric is ok,
don't really like tension corpus and analog, but i have to say that i don't really like software instruments....

I love drum rack. At least for a day I will listen to the Bass for once.
