fine editing automation
Is there a way to do this?
For example I can of course draw and record automation for tempo but if I want to be really precise it's hard to get the value of say 130bpm using the mouse and drawing.
Is there something a bit like list editor in Cubase where I can overtype the 129.67 or indeed enter some new lines?
thx

Re: fine editing automation
That's a shame - can't be that difficult
Re: fine editing automation
Don't say NO! add to this a false requested and not granted feature that is fully efficient in live 8
Just press&hold CTRL + mouse clic to precisely set your automation dot where you exactly want it to be
CTRL = command on macOS
Now about the tempo, you have to play with minimum and maximum values [just below the song tempo box in arrangement view]
If you have it set from 20bpm to 999bpm even with ctrl+mouse clic it will not work well.
Set it around the values you wanna tight edit
Hope it helps

Re: fine editing automation
It's a bit better with ctrl and move the mouse.
But not ideal - there should be a way to type it in.

It becomes ideal when you expand the window.
I don't blame it for this, it just works great

Re: fine editing automation
I just expanded my master track as big as it would go.
I found that using control and mouse it was not possible to set the tempo to 104.00 - 103.99 or 104.01
What's the trick to set it to 104.00?
I still think it would be quite easy to have a popup box to enter them - it's probably easier from a coding perspective than the scrolling control mouse.
