Re: Cableguys Midishaper
We're currently working on getting MidiShaper to optionally route to a virtual MIDI port, which you can then easily route back into Live. At least for Live, setting up is even easier than it is right now, and it works with Live's MIDI automation, so you can route this into Live's/Suite's own devices.
Only thing which is still a bit tricky is MIDI timing. So lets keep our fingers crossed that we get this working smoothly. If anyone wants to help us with beta testing, that would be much appreciated! Drop as a mail at contact@cableguys.de then!

Re: Cableguys Midishaper
There are only difficult ways to do this with Live's own devices at the moment, but we are currently working on a nice solution (see my previous post). Chances are that this works much nicer, and that we have this done very soon.Tweaking Knobs wrote:Hi, sorry im so stupid, i dont know how exactly to set up in live.

Thanks for the suggestion, this was exactly was I was looking for.
I'm sending LFOs to an external MIDI-CV converter controlling my analog effects, and it seems to work very well.

It's merely a automation.

Re: Cableguys Midishaper
But a pretty one. With MidiShaper's drawing you can draw much more complex and "soft" curves, you can layer LFOs, you can automate LFOs to change their speed etc. Give it a try!pencilrocket wrote:It's merely a automation.

Re: Cableguys Midishaper
Until 4pm CET today you can still buy MidiShaper for EUR 10/USD 15. I will then change the price to EUR 20/USD 30. See http://www.cableguys.de/midi-shaper.html
MidiShaper 1.1 will bring AU support and output to physical and virtual MIDI ports, and you can then use it with Live's own MIDI automation and also with Live's devices (you can test it with the beta from the news at http://www.cableguys.de). It's currently in beta and we guess to do the official release within the next 10 days.

I was at work and missed this deal...any chance to extend this for a few late-comers?Jakob / Cableguys wrote:Until 4pm CET today you can still buy MidiShaper for EUR 10/USD 15. I will then change the price to EUR 20/USD 30. See http://www.cableguys.de/midi-shaper.html

Re: Cableguys Midishaper
I'm trying to use Midishaper with Massive. I've followed the video tutorial but on my Massive midi channel I don't have the option to pick Midishaper as the Input Channel. I am able to choose it as the Input Type though. The only options I have under Input Channel are Pre FX and Post FX.
What am I doing wrong?

Re: Cableguys Midishaper
That's strange. Just tested it again with MidiShaper 1.1, with MidiShaper being on a separate MIDI channel, and everything works fine.William wrote:I'm trying to use Midishaper with Massive.
