link up a vestax vcm 600 to a normal dj mixer
right im getting a vestax vcm 600 midi next week to use for ableton do i need a jack to audio lead that will link midi to mixer as im clueless

I'm pretty sure that the vcm is MIDI only, so it would just be USB to your computer.
You wouldn't need a DJ mixer at all if you're trying to just DJ with ableton and the vcm, as it would be controlling Live's internal mixer. So the only audio cable's you'll need are the ones coming from your audio interface to the speakers (or house mixer if you're preforming live).
