Where is the Best Place to Search for Used Gear In Japan ?

I'm talking about online classifieds like craigslist and ebay, is there a place where all the musicians know to list their stuff?

Ochanomizu in Tokyo? There was a ton of used stuff the time I was there, and it seemed to be the place to go for it.

5G is about what you need to even get in the door.....pricey, but glorious gear pornage

The term used gear covers a lot of ground, but if you are interested in vintage analog stuff, there is a Japan-based seller on eBay called Abertronix that sells synths, old school Roland drum machines and other similar items. The selection is constantly changing, but classic and otherwise interesting items seem to pop up regularly.

just trying to find the best sources for when I wash ashore
craigslist has a japan section but why oh why oh whyyyy won't anybody use it, seems like some overcomplification is goin on out there, for instance yahoo auction is kind of useful but there's no buy it now option at least that I can see, if I'm mistaken please correct me.

Craigslist is predom.in English, so no-one knows it here really. Also the structured and secure Yahoo auction fits better with the Japanese way of doing things. It's basically v. reliable here and doesn't involve as much face to face and negotiating etc.

but I'm used to being able to jump on a good deal if I exert a little more energy than the next guy, and there's some good things on there right now but it looks like you've just got to wait it out

I am not sure.But I think Yahoo auction can give you a good answer. There are so many option of used gear but for in case of Japan I am not sure.

i have bought from ebay in japan, two synths without a problem the shipment was about 80$
