The Chord Memorizer in Logic is very cool, so I made an emulation in Ableton Live 8.

Essentially you can assign a chord to each key of your keyboard, allowing you to do things like play chords in one hand and a melody in another, or make complex changes and inversions possible for mere mortals.
Each key also has some arpeggiators, creating some additional possibilities.

Great idea – thanks for sharing!
In Logic I have some transformers, which transpose, scale, etc. the incoming notes depending on MIDI CCs I send to these transformer objects – which makes my LPD8 far more usable as I can step through octaves, go into different scales, etc. immediately. Your video inspired me to try something similar with Live’s MIDI Effects and Racks.

thanks for the support gents! If you have cool ideas or innovative uses i'd love to hear them.
And also, how much better could this be in M4L? I'm always trying to justify buying that....
And if you make a silly beat or tune with it, we'd all love to hear! (or at least i would)
