install live pack on another location than library

Dear community!

Is it possible to install a live pack (in this case the retro synths) on another location than the library?

My library is located on my normal hard drive and I'd like to have the 3GB of the retro synths on my mobile drive.

Don't think so :( live packs will only install to the location the pack creator sets.

You can create another Library. Go into Prefs, Library Tab --> Change Location and make sure to select Create New Library when prompted. Then Choose NO when asked to install Default packages.

Install Live Packs...

You can then switch back to your original Library, and set the new one as a bookmark in the browser. You will have to access everything from a file browser and hot-swap will be a little trickier, but it will do what you need...
