Does anything sound off to you?

A lot of people are asking about how waves look on websites lately - SoundCloud, Beatport, etc.... Stereo music, single channel visual waveform. How does it look in Live?

could just be that it's optimized to work with a very low cpu hit, low resolution, rough interpolation, etc.

It is aliased. If you have a sine wave that is running at one frequency and it's being sampled at another you'll get that aliasing pattern. The actual audio is fine the problem is the picture of it. It is similar to a visual moray pattern.

No, it's fine. And also common in house music tracks on SoundCloud.

It's because of the kick. Notice how these weird lines stop at around 1:03 when there is no kick. But you're going to tell me "it's not only the kick that stops at 1:03 but the hi-hats and the snare as well". You may also choose to say it in different words but you will still mean the same

For this reason check out this track: http://soundcloud.com/djskinny/skiiny-vs-nico-g-barbun. Before 0:18 you only have the snare and the hi-hats going on. At 0:18 the kick kicks in! And there's that strange waveform again!

Or another way to see it would be by elongating the window horizontally by a ridiculous amount. It's like zooming in in the waveform. It's kick peaks!

Hope this helps! Nice track by the way!
