Warning To Anyone That Owns An MPC!

Recently I fried my MPC power supply by switching the unit off and then back on again too quickly (lazy way to clear the memory)... so DONT!! Maybe its only me thats daft enough to do something like this.... its working out an expensive leason to learn!

i think yours had problems
ive never had anything like that just the usual mpc1000 pad issues
and the sample cut outs

yeah maybe it had it coming, I dunno... its a 2000XL BTW.... I wont be trying my luck again though :wink:

i had a 2000XL for about 4 years, and never any issues.

Do you guys sequence your MPC's off of Live? Is it better the other way around? Any shortcomings with Live when you sequence off the MPC?
