abletone live 8 & maschine

hi i use maschine (native instruments )as midi controller for abletone live .oll works well for 5 -10 min.after my pads stops respond.cant se which clip im playing.dose any one use mashine as midi controller fore abletone live ?or its just waist of time to do my own mappings ?

I use Ableton Live with Maschine all the time. Are you using USB 2.0 port? Have the lastest version of maschine and controller editor?

The new Maschine update (1.7) messed up the controller MIDI control IMO. I updated, and once I did, my Maschine won't send MIDI (only as a controller, it works perfectly with Maschine software) to ableton without a restart of my computer. weird, and, annoying. Do you have this version of Maschine? anyone else have this problem as well?

dont think i have the latest midi controller editor i will check that .but i will wait with maschine 1.7(still have 1.6)dont want to mes it up with 1.7. i have problem even if i try manually to map my midi !works for few min and ...stops .if i restart ableton will work for few min and again the same story (midi indicator on live without life )

o yes i do tried to control direct without usb 2.0 hub .same story.

ok dont want to sound d... but what exactly have to be on midi set.on abletone ?i have input track on,sinc of ,remote on.same with output .control surface (ch)1 oll on maschine controller

When you press pads or buttons on maschine controller, does the midi indicator light blink in Live?

pads lights up for few sec and stops .same with midi indicator on abletone live .if i unplug usb and plug it again it will work .but that how it shodnt be .(only pads will work but not indicator on abletone live )

Not sure why you're having those problems but you should contact NI support or ask in their forums.

As for 1.7, it's be stupid not to update. It's not just about Komplete integration. 1.7 update also has several new features as well as bug fixes. It also comes with a new version of the Controller Editor.
