Recording Routing?

Hi Gang!

Two quick routing questions while recording on a audio track:

1. If I have certain effects on the audio track - will the final audio recording be altered by them?
2. Does the track volume have to be set at 0 db while recording? In other words, will the track Volume affect the final recording?
