shortcut keys to open a VSt in MAc

Post by Caymus Cab » Wed Oct 12, 2011 8:13 pm

not sure what I am missing here.. but is there is shortcut key to open a vst in a track instead of scrolling across the world to hit the little wrench icon in a vst? i followed the online help in live and it reads "Shift" key for mac only.. I'm a bit confused as nothing happens when I hit the "Shift" key on a Mac.... is there another key I am missing?

thanks!

if you open a vst window, and then hit cmnd-alt-p, you can hide it, and then use the same shortcut to show it again, you have to have the window already open for this to work. It's more a hide function, but it will work for what you want, it will show all vst's on that specific track that you have opened and hidden as well, so if you want the effects to open along with the instrument, that will work too.
