I've tryed maschine and decided to stay on the mpc

Post by freshdrumma » Wed Nov 09, 2011 9:55 am

i agree it sounds cool, the library is awesome but i tend to use my sounds anyway,
i will not spend mony on this because: i like the sound of my mpc, i like to be make music away from the computer, i like it to be limited, it super sturdy and feets in my backpack easy

maschine it's not for me, sorry :o

Why fork out for Maschine if you are happy with what you have

apart from the financial cost and potentially lethal consequences, cigarettes are great. get with the programme.

Speaking of rolling sh.t up. Does anyone know if positional vertigo "qualifies" for one of those special cards? I'm curious

Golden Virginia, son. Aaaaand some other stuff.

Anyway what I'm saying is I love Maschine, Live and cigarettes.

(PS If you live in California, anything "qualifies [you] for one of those special cards.")

F it. Going to try. What's the worse thing that could happen? I end up with a license to chill.

That was awful.

To the topic, if you use an MPC how do you sequence synths? I used to have a 2000xl but I also had all this other crap like mixers, keyboards etc. I can't imagine filling up my space with all that now. So, do you use Reason or something like that? If so, how? Can you use Live with an MPC?

Don't MPCs have a MIDI In?
google man, google!

I'm really tempted to sell my MPC for Maschine. the MPC would've been great 8+ years ago but it's sooo much easier using a mouse and a DAW. I only have time to learn a DAW OR learn an MPC OS. Maschine seems more like a DAW supplement.
