how to fade in ( over more than one audio clip)
how to fade in ( over more than one audio clip)
Ive recorded an audio sample that is 2 bars long. I then duplicate the same sample clip in the track arrangment to play for 3 or 4 minutes.
trouble i have is, when i try to use the fade-in option i can only fade-in over the 2 bars of the first sample clip. Abbleton wont allow the fade-in to continue past the frist sample clip onwards.
What im after is a much more gradual fade in over 8 or 10 bars, which means fading-in over 5 or 6 audio sample clips.
Anyone know how this can be done?
Im using live 8 suite.

consolidate the clips together to make one big clip

You could also use the 'unlink' function in the clip itself and have independent control of the fade envelope over the length of the clip.
Here's a pretty good idea.
