IPad with Animoog

Post by Liam » Sat Dec 03, 2011 2:36 pm

This is a great app - Animoog.

In some ways it feels better than the real thing as you sense the sound changing with your finger movement. The visual feedback is fantastic.

The audio quality is amazing.

Highly recommended.

I agree the Animoog is sensational. One of the most inspiring synths I've ever played.

^^
At the moment I just use the headphone output into my audio interface. But I was looking into the possibilities to use the digital output of the iPad! So I am also very curious if you have any recommendations for this...

I'm trying to get audio wirelessly through Airplay if possible.

Unfortunately the Apple TV device I'm using (and into a receiver from there) is not playing back audio properly (breaks up).

The Camera Connection Kit can output digital audio, and supposedly you'd plug it into some sort of DAC.

The Alesis I/O dock is expensive :|

I'm using a 3.5mm to dual 1/4" cable to my MBox Mini.
