WHY THE FFF are my channel meters just showing the input and not reflecting effects of fader changes?
This is clipping master with channel at full volume:
This is good master volume with channel at about half:
And finally, this is the one with channel volume at zero but meter is still showing a level(the input from my asr-x) but obvioulsy no sound is reaching the master:
This is annoying the piss out of me, and it makes it really hard to mix and match levels with any accuracy.
How in the world can i change the channel meters to post effects and post fader, so i can actually see whats going to the master?

EDIT!!!!!
I literally found the answer five seconds after i posted this!! My bad guys! Ableton calls this monitoring and not metering, all you have to do is turn off monitoring and then the meters will show the output and not input.
