Drag & Drop From iTunes to Session in Live 7?

Post by STRATEGY_510 » Fri Dec 09, 2011 1:12 am

Is it not in there? Because I thought it was.

I just fired up Live 8 and it works there, but not in 7. I'm on a Mac

Thanks,

Because I don't want to.

Isn't it supposed to work in 7? Is this some kind of Lion deal?

Is there an official answer anywhere? I did search for it.

Hi Strategy,

Checked this with live 7 and it works here.

Could you import mp3 into Live in general?
What exactly is your operating system and your Live 7 version?

Thanks, I can drag and drop from the Finder and I am on Lion & Live 7.0.18

Sounds like Lion is the culprit.

Thats bad :(

Unfortunately Live 7 is in general not supported to run under Lion -
There are also other known bugs, for example crashes with sending midi out.

Check also this thread> http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php? ... patibility

Thanks Palmer, guess I was getting away with it for awhile with my limited usage wasn't running into the known problems.

Time to learn to love the warping in Live 8 I guess..
