How Long Did it Take?

1 month for the basics.. but i committed to it.. I did not go back to other DAWS and go back and forth everytime i hit a roadblock on Ableton.. There is usually a work around or Ableton just did it differently...

How does this even happen. Is there a person searching the web for "how long ableton" so they have a place to post their abstract poem?

The major selling point for me was how easy it was. I was using Studio One at the time, which is ridiculously easy to begin with. And I tried a version of Live Lite that came with a keyboard I bought. I was shocked by how easy it was and how nifty and easy session view was, despite being totally unique.

Different strokes I guess. Try hitting the "?" key if you don't have the info view open. I never even bothered to read the manual until much much later. That thing'll give you an idea of what's going on and if you've got experience with another DAW you can probably puzzle out the rest of it from there.
