How to produce build ups and rises in electronic music

I would like to know how to produce build ups in my house tracks. here is an example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icl4qGvil1E the rise starts at 3:31 in this video any help would be much appreciated!

it's almost 2012 have we not learned yet that youtube is the better than community college?

i wouldn't know anything about ableton if it wasn't for the university of you tube!
