I'm back at it after a 18 month break. In the market for a controller for home studio use, want something easy to setup + easy to use and would like to spend between $200-300 US. I am not a key player so don't need a keyboard really.

Is the APC still on top, would the 40 or 20 be best for a bedroom producer? I also have an ipad so any recommendations on how to use the ipad to compliment ableton and a controller would be great

Open to other suggestions

Buy the Behringer 1 x BCF and 1 x BCR and you should be a happy man after reading the manuals and using the BCF in Mackie mode. You are the King! :D
