Ableton is made to be stable in live performance settings and it's got the most advanced production tools of any DAW. They achieve that by cutting corners in other places.

I'm absolutely certain that you don't know this as a fact, it's pure conjecture on your part.

If you have a basis to say that they are conjecture, how do you apply your basis to this truth?

Live obviously (sometimes apparently) consume far more CPU resources than that of other DAWs'. How can it be explained other than that this is intended to make it stable in live performance?

That has nothing to do with sound quality though. The ability to freely move around and edit audio, effects, and tracks without audio dropouts does not mean that sound quality is suffering as a result.

Then you also admit that Ableton is made to be stable in live performance settings, though Machinesworking may call it pure conjecture. I can't judge whether this setting will affect the sound or not because I have no basis. All I can say is that is one of unique factor of the process in Ableton which we don't have to consider when in other DAWs.
