Nah, they don't care that much. And considering that bitwig is vaporware, we all loose.

Well I'm not sure about that. They clearly had a boot up the jacksi enough to implement dual monitors & 64bit.

I think they're very much keeping a beady eye on the 'competition'.

I'm looking forward to trying the demo, a lot of what I see compliments the way I work...
I didn't upgrade to 9 cuz I hate the browser, plus I'm not interested in push at all. It's really gonna come down to whether I enjoy the workflow better in Bitwig or I get sucked into the max for live community, cuz those peeps are brining some truly brilliant stuff to the table, and that might be enough for me to stick around.
Ableton 9, Feeltune Rhizome, Focusrite Pro, Mpk249....

Multi-display support for up to 3 displays

What gets me about Bitwig is the core team of developers used to work for Ableton. Instead of sticking around and fixing bugs we all know and hate, THEY F***ING DITCHED US to make money. Bitwig is a fancy Ableton wannabe with a stupid name. I will never use it based solely on the fact that is exists because of greed, in my opinion.

Of course, it's probably going to sell like crazy at first, but I could not care less. A company that sells t shirts YEARS before their actual product can go **** a big huge ****.

I really do agree with you on many thoughts, but that was funny as hell!

So if i just put asterisks in i can type whatever i want? So i could be all like, "hey, you're a total sh*t bag and your dad enjoys s**king off dogs" and no one can be offended because hey, who knows, maybe i meant "shirt bag" and "stroking dogs" but didn't put enough stars for letters and accidentally put the word off in there?

just trying to figure out how things work.

I'd really like to see a product that is really similar to ableton, but just isn't ableton you know? Something more underground but made by people who are ok working for free... until that comes i won't write another note.
