does it do clips in session containing chunks of audio? Can you chop audio in a clip in Session?

It seems so, their clips can encapsulate sub-chunks of stuff.
It's demonstrated a bit in that AudioFanzine video

It works like MIDI- you can cut/copy and paste chunks of audio events. Even copy them from clip to clip.

In interviews they have emphasized that they don't want to make any false promises as to when the software will be released.

Have you heard something about the beta being unstable?

No, I think that the fact that only one retailer is listing it is suspicious.
And that the short date is ... probably on wheels and will roll into the future, magically.

There's been no public beta yet, I bet they'll do that for a while before a real shipping date.

However I have been wrong before.
The date was october 15th 1992, I remember it well .

Deltron Z is hosting the release party.

"Estimated delivery date" means absolutely nothing when the company hasn't officially announced a release date. Gear4music is pulling that straight out of their asses.

So they removed the due date and price?

BTW, a while back (a long while back) there was a place that listed it with about the same price (dv24/7??)

visiting this thread gifted me with a random chuckle about the forum user who was claiming a while back that they are a software dev, and could code a better version of Ableton Live from scratch in a year. good one.
