is there a way to monitor midi info being sent to launchpad?

i'd like to know what midi signals are being sent from ableton to launchpad. for example, when creating a new clip, ableton sends a midi out signal to launchpad to tell it to light up an LED and so on. in midiox, you can monitor what signals the launchpad is sending to ableton, but is there a way to monitor the signals being sent from ableton to the launchpad?
