Drum sampling
I want to sample just the drums of a song. Is there any way I can do this on ableton?

Re: Drum sampling
Find a place in the song where the drum is the only thing playing at a given moment, and cut it out.

I mean, I want a certain snare/kick from a record. How can I extract it?

Re: Drum sampling
Load up your song in the arrangement view, zoom in, and start carving out your drum. When done, export it as a wav. There's your sample.
Re: Drum sampling
Insert an audio track, then drag your wav/mp3 into arrangement view. Warp the track so it's in time (youtube search ableton warping if you don't know how to do this), then go and find the part you want, select it, copy and paste it into into a new Simpler.
