HD failure today :-/ Let this be a warning

Post by Jekblad » Fri Feb 03, 2012 4:35 am

I back up EVERY SINGLE DAY. No joke. Then I moved from Chicago to austin TX, packed up my externals for a few weeks and BOOM. Goodbye laptop harddrive.

I've been able to move most of my stuff over to other externals since trying to salvage, but you always end up losing something you need during one of these transitions.

So if you haven't got your rock solid backup system in place, get started today! Hard drives don't last forever.

In other news, Austin is beautiful this time of year.

It's usually much colder this time of year.
I'll stress this again, 75f in the dead of winter is not normal here.

Dropbox, instant backup on the fly, on as many machines as you like.
