its been almost the same amount of time since apple released a new version of logic.
wasn't there four years between one of the versions of reason also?
in the software world this is almost a decade.

Which also shows how innovative the product was at the time.

I would say a similar thing about Live considering bitwig is adding to and existing product idea, and Traktor is marketing their up and coming products as Ableton Live for DJ's. All these ideas are rooted in a version of Live that is almost 3 years old.

So the question is will Live 9 be as pioneering, or just more of the same. I am kinda hoping it will be both.

thats nothing compared to the longest beta holders i can think of, plouge with bidule.
