Free X-session xfader Curve Editor

Post by computo » Thu Mar 10, 2005 4:41 am

Anyone interested,

I just posted a program I finished, which allows you to adjust the crossfader curve on yout Evolution Xsession. You need the Free version of Max/MSP runtime. Its built to run very transparently, using very little cpu.

I hope this assists some people.

check out my stuffs while you're there. I have a new CD coming out soon.

well, this may be a Mac only thing, I dont know how it will work on PCs.

Basically, Max should be included in the download.
you should be able to mount the .dmg file, unstuff the Max .sit file and then install like normal.

Does that make sense?

ok, I figured this out...

Supposedly, that is the Max runtime for PC. The program should work fine cross-platform.

Any more issues? Let me know.

Got the Max runtime installed OK. But can't seem to do anything with the DMG file... :(

If I try loading it into the Max runtime, it doesn't give me an error, it just doesn't do *anything* either (i.e. it doesn't even appear to have loaded anything).

I note that DMG isn't on the list of file types it seems to recognise...

Will investigate further and try some more things later, but off to the pub any moment.

Ah...

From Googling "DMG = Macintosh OS X Disk Image File (Treated like a real disk)".

Thait ain't gonna work on a PC. Any chance we can get the *contents* of the disk instead? Or some other reason that wouldn't work?

Cheers,

Robb

So, back from the pub, I found some instructions on accessing DMG files on a PC (http://www.computing.net/mac/wwwboard/forum/10311.html) but get:
dmg2iso v0.2c by vu1tur (vu1tur@gmx.de)

reading property list...ERROR: Property list is corrupted.
Guess us PC users are gonna need a zip or sit or something...
