Stopping clips by pressing the clip again?

Sorry if this has been covered before, but i can't find anything in the manual and i don't know what to search for in the forum.

Is it possible to set up a way of stopping a clip in session view by pressing the clip trigger again?

launch modes. version 8 manual page 156. set it to toggle.

I just tried that and it doesn't work. I trigger a clip and then i press the same trigger button again and all it does it retrigger the clip. I want to be able to press the trigger to stop it from playing...

Edit: Also, page 156 of my manual is about recording midi as audio.

toggle launch mode sounds like what you want unless you want it to launch again from where you left off?

I've set it to toggle mode but it doesn't seem to be working. Instead of stopping the track, it's just retriggering it. Any ideas what i'm doing wrong?

Edit: Never-mind, I've figured it out. I hat the global setting as toggle, what i needed to do was set the clip as toggle...
