How bad is Lives Automation delay? (any advice welcome)
I have read in a few post that: If i add loads of automation then 'add or remove' plugins, then the automation can play totally out of time.
Usually I like to record a few bits of steady automation.
But lately i have a few "talky" sounds that require 'fast and precise' movements (to sound rhythmic)
and also i am looking into tempo synced plugs for filer automation.
Will LIVEs automation or tempo SYNCed plugs go out of time?
Do LIVEs automations or tempo SYNCed plugs go out of time?

This is the biggest hurdle I have with Live, the biggest single issue that causes me headaches and makes me think of Live as anything less than a professional piece of software. I work on my projects on multiple computers, and as the lag changes on those systems my automation changes its sync. Even on a 1 system setup, as my project grows and the lag increases, I have to rewrite my automation to adapt. PLEASE FIX THIS.

Answer is YES
adding and removing plugins will make automation even volume go totally out of time
Its a bit real for a 'PRO' bit of software - being totally out of sync

A technically minded person on another forum wrote:I can only speculate they add up the latency of all plugins in the chain, and then feed the track audio "early" by this amount, and send timeposition info as if there is no latency. For them to fix it they would need to send timeposition values offset (unique timeposition info for every plugin which has latency-inducing plugins before it), based on the latency sum prior to the plugin.
